Georgia · remote and on-site delivery

AI consulting for Atlanta businesses

A large share of US card payments is processed by companies based in metro Atlanta, and the city’s airport and rail links make it the logistics hub of the Southeast. The AI work we see here follows that: payments operations, dispute handling, freight paperwork and customer service at volume.

Georgia has no comprehensive consumer privacy law, so the obligations that shape projects here come from industry rules such as PCI DSS and HIPAA, and from contracts with large customers. We serve Atlanta remotely from the same time zone and visit for workshops and launches.

Rules that apply in Georgia

What we check during discovery for Atlanta clients, and how it changes the design.

No comprehensive Georgia privacy law
Georgia has not enacted a consumer privacy statute like California’s or Texas’s. That does not mean anything goes: federal sector rules, the state breach-notification law and your customers’ contracts still apply.
PCI DSS v4.0
All of the standard’s future-dated requirements became mandatory on March 31, 2025. Any AI that sees cardholder data brings that system into PCI scope, so we design dispute and support agents to work from tokens and masked data.
Georgia breach notification law
Requires notice to affected residents without unreasonable delay when unencrypted personal information is acquired by an unauthorised person.

General information, checked October 2026. Not legal advice; laws and dates change, so confirm with your own counsel. See our AI regulatory compliance overview for more.

Time zone and delivery

Eastern Time (ET)

Same time zone as our US team, and a short flight from Fort Lauderdale for on-site days in Midtown, Buckhead, Alpharetta or the airport corridor.

We also work with companies in Marietta, Duluth, Savannah and Augusta, and remotely across the Carolinas and Tennessee.

Typical Atlanta projects

  • Chargeback evidence packs

Order, delivery and communication records gathered into a dispute response for each reason code, ready for an analyst to approve.

  • Load tender and tracking automation

Tender emails parsed into the TMS, tracking requests answered automatically and late loads flagged before the customer calls.

  • PCI-aware support agents

Customer-service agents that can look up orders and refunds without ever receiving a full card number.

Questions from Atlanta businesses

Does Georgia have a privacy law we need to follow for AI?
Not a comprehensive one, but the breach-notification law, federal rules like HIPAA and GLBA, PCI DSS and your contracts all apply. If you serve customers in other states, their laws may apply too.
Can AI touch payment data safely?
It can work around it. We use tokenised and masked data so the AI system stays out of PCI scope wherever possible.
